Hahahaha. This makes me laugh because it happens all the time. If you were too lazy to open the link and read it, l'esprit de l'escalier is translated to staircase wit. It is the act of thinking of a comeback that is witty but its too late for it. I am positive its happened to you. Either that or you are one of those, "youre stupid," " no, you're stupid" people.
